href="http://www.youraccidentsource.com/asbestos-exposure/">asbestos - may fall ill due to inhalation. Construction workers who work around heavy, unsafe machinery can easily sustain a life-threatening fall or be injured by equipment. No matter what the case, the vast majority of such injured employees are entitled to receive benefits – such as compensation pay and medical bill reimbursement – under company workers’ compensation plans. These plans are designed to help injured parties return to their jobs as soon as possible and to help cover expenses that mount as a result of the employees’ injuries. No matter who is at fault, workers are entitled to workers’ compensation benefits. However, employees who accept these benefits forfeit their rights to sue their employers. This comes after years of complaints from patients and doctors regarding early failure of the products.

DePuy’s systems are not the first ever hip implants to be recalled. Sulzer Orthopedic manufactured a hip replacement device known as an inter-op acetabular hip implant shell which was recalled in December 2000. Twenty-five thousand of these hip implants were recalled by Sulzer. By that time, more than 17,500 had already been implanted in patients. The recall did not require surgeons to contact patients after their hip replacement surgery had been completed.

Medical devices are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Manufacturers of medical products like J&J must take proper steps and precautions to ensure the safety of their products. When defective medical devices like the DePuy Hip Implant are manufactured and cause harm, manufacturers and sellers are responsible for the injuries or damages caused by those devices.

If you or a loved one has suffered injury due to early failure of these DePuy hip replacement products you may be eligible for financial compensation for lost wages, medical bills and other expenses. href="http://www.youraccidentsource.com/medical-negligence/">Medical negligence occurs every day and has devastating effects on its victims and their families. They are entitled to compensation for injuries and wrongful death.
Victims most often have medical costs, and they often find that they are at a loss to pay for the ever-increasing medical bills. There are many ways in which a physician or hospital can commit medical malpractice such as misdiagnosis, failure to diagnose, surgical mistakes, and hospital mistakes.

Medical negligence occurs when the medical establishment fails to provide adequate medical care. Medical workers, doctors, nurses and others may be held liable for injuries sustained by victims if they act carelessly or act in a way that violates the standard of care. When doctors or hospitals cause grave injury, pain and suffering, or death, we seek to make sure that the victims are compensated.

Some other examples of medical negligence include doctors who neglect their patients, fail to listen to their patients, or make wrong decisions. Some doctors may not monitor or watch patients receiving medical care in the hospital or in their offices. In other cases, a surgeon may be negligent during a surgical procedure such as liposuction, breast augmentation or tummy tuck surgery. In these cases, the physicians and other health care workers could be held liable. All doctors and health care providers must undergo extensive training, so they should know how to perform medical treatments and procedures and they should perform them correctly. They are also required to receive informed consent from their patients before performing surgery. When physicians fail to do this, they are not telling their patients about the risks and complications of surgery.

Learn about other <a
